best day ever! pappy and grandma came to visit us for thanksgiving and we have anxiously been awaiting their arrival ever since they booked their flights 2months ago!
the girls ran right up to pappy and grandma, quincy wouldn't let go of pappy the whole day. in fact he rode in the very back of the van side by side with them, even though there was very little room.
after picking them up in austin we headed down to san antonio.
along the way we stopped at bucee's its a gas station the size of walmart...its huge and has everything you can imagine!
we stopped off for dinner at BJ's and the girls loved the ribs pappy ordered.
in fact they took the bones home and chewed on them the rest of the night.
since then they have been asking for cow on the bone...(even though its not cow, but its a big step up to a carnivorous appetite)
back at the hotel sitting by the fire just after breakfast. these girls were so happy all week!
and of course our favorite thing...reading with the real pappy and grandma.
pappy and grandma have sent us several books that they have recorded their voices reading the words and the girls love reading them each night. it was a special treat to have their real voice in person reading some of their favorite books.
