easter

i love easter! whether its all the candy, bright colors or memories of always having a great time with family,

 i simply love EASTER!

i was a little disappointed that there wasn't any community/city easter egg hunts.  so my friend and i planned our own community hunt.  we had everyone drop of eggs the night before and spence was a good egg hider.  

the girls are finally at the age where they understand finding the egg!  Q was great she sprinted all over the field for eggs!

T of course got a couple eggs, and then had to stop and snack a little.  once she realized there was candy inside she couldn't help herself.

after the hunt, jill and i had planned out some games for the kids.

the classic, egg on a spoon, egg toss, 3 leg race.

so we tried it this year, they had to find a bubble gum in a bowl of powdered sugar.

they got a little messy, but it was all sugar so they loved it!

ms kate was a hoot, and she won the hula-hoop contest too!

after Q got another pony so her hair wouldn't get dirty, she dove right in.

and of course bubbles!

we had a great easter with all the neighbors, we are so lucky to have found such fun friends!!
