tour de cure...diabetes

My sweet little niece Abbie got diagnosed with juvenile diabetes when she was only 3years old. She is the sweetest little thing and it amazes me how understanding
she is of her unique and special condition. Abbie's parents try to stress the importance of learning all they can about juvenile diabetes. Each year they participate in some form of fund raising for diabetes to help find a cure! This year they are participating in a 69mile bike race called the race for a cure. My brother Josh is a super bicylc-est and has put together a killer team to bike and earn money that goes directly to the juvenile diabetes foundation.

They still need another $700 to participate in the tour.

If anyone is interested in donating any small or large tax deductible amount you can through this link, the donation will go to the juvenile diabetes foundation http://main.diabetes.org/togo/teamabbie
To help find a cure for all these little people in the world that suffer from juvenile diabetes, every little bit counts and we can all make a difference.

thanks, car & spence

Happy Mother's Day to the best mom I could ever ask for!!
My mom is one of my closest friends, best roommate I have ever had, and one of the gentlest & sweetest person in my life!! SHE always knows exactly what to say and how to saw it, and she is the perfect example of a mother because she is so selfless, she always puts other people first. I often tell spencer and my sisters..i need to be more like mom she is patient, so kind, so forgiving and so loving.
Moving away from family has been a real struggle for me, and my mom always makes it a point to call me at least once a day, and there have been those days that a phone call from her and simply hearing her reassuring voice has allowed me to make it through the day.
So here's to you mom for all you do, have done and continue to do for me!
I love you and I am so eternally grateful that I have the chance to be
your best friend and your favorite daughter!!
my mom and all us girls
My mom dropped everything for a week to help Spencer and I move....and to be honest I don't think I would have hopped in the moving truck if she hadn't been in it! and i would have never been able to unpack and get organized without her there to crack the whip and head to walmart day after day to get needed supplies!
THanks mom, you really made the move so much easier!

My mom has always been my #1 fan, she was at every game whether volleyball, basketball, softball or track, she hosted countless team dinners and made numberous scrunches. She has been my race crew for all my races and all my weekend long trainings: over 4 marathons, over 20+ half marathons and over 15+ triathlons, (in fact this past weekend she drove 10hrs on thursday after work to come watch me do my 1st tri in AZ she was only her 2days and hopped back in the car sunday morning so she could be at work on monday am.)
she has never complained once...in fact I don't think I have ever heard her complain in her whole life....I wish i was more like her!

She loves spencer as her own son and is so supportive to both of us! she works 2 jobs and is always so willing and generous with her time and love! We have so many fun memories!

My mom always puts on the beset parties and get togethers! She is always up for fun and never ever misses out any celebrations big or small!
Thanks for being my mom! I wouldn't be who I am today without you! And I hope and pray that someday I will be able to be as good of a mom and friend as you are! There is nothing I can think of better in this world than to grow up and be just like you mom.
I love you!! I love you!! I love you!!
